The ABC Skills Hub is available for free to anyone who wants to learn. Students can take courses on their own, or as assigned by a teacher from a Canadian school or learning centre. The free courses are for use at home and in workshops and activities that are also free for participants. Courses are not to be used for commercial purposes.
Accounts are free for Canadian organizations. This includes your organization account, all your teacher accounts, and all your student accounts.
Ask your organization’s administrator to complete and submit the form on this page. ABC Life Literacy Canada will review the information and activate an organization account. We will notify your administrator by email when the account is activated. If you are both the administrator and teacher at your organization, you will need to create an organization account first. in order to add a teacher account for yourself. Please note that you can’t use the same email address to create more than one account on ABC Skills Hub, even if you’re creating different kinds of accounts.
You can create a teacher account on ABC Skills Hub only if you are the administrator of an organization account. Teachers can’t create accounts for themselves unless they are the administrator of their organization’s account. The ABC Skills Hub Organization Portal is designed to work best on a desktop or laptop computer. An ideal screen size is at least 1400px wide. The portal for learners taking courses works well on both desktops and mobile devices, even ones with smaller screens.
View a list here of all courses available and to preview the course activities. This will provide you with access to a Sample Student Account and you can review as many courses as you like. Any information you enter into courses will not be saved. Please use the Sample Student Account instead of creating a test account.

Canadian organizations that want to use the ABC Skills Hub to offer courses to learners can create an organization account. Organizations with an account can add teachers to their organization. Teachers you add will be able to preview courses, create classrooms, and select courses for their students to work through independently.
