Communication is the skill we use to share our ideas and feelings with other people. Every time we speak, listen, read, write, or even move, we’re communicating. Communication is key to almost everything we do. We may need to use different types of communication skills in different situations. Communicating well can help us do better at work and in our relationships.
In this course, we’ll learn about:
- What communication is and why it’s important
- Ways to communicate better in everyday life
- Tools to improve our communication skills
The Communication course is part of the UP Skills for Work program which helps you build skills for learning, work, and life. When you have these skills, you have the foundation you need to work well with others—at work, at home, and in your community.
