Course description

Learning about patterns is one way to build your math skills. A pattern is a way things are put together or repeated. Patterns help us know what's coming next. When we know what's coming next, we can make better decisions.

In this course you'll:

  • Look at different kinds of patterns
  • Find rules for how those patterns work
  • Use what you notice to guess what comes next

The Playing with Patterns course is part of the ABC Everyday Numbers program. Visit abceverydaynumbers.ca for more resources and activities about building your math skills.

ABC Everyday Numbers was developed with support from Manulife in alignment with their Impact Agenda and commitment to driving inclusive economic opportunities.
