What you’ll learn...

  • Why presentation is important in the workplace
  • How to present ourselves well to others
  • How to deal with barriers to good presentation

Course description

The way we present ourselves can have a big effect on how people see us. Good presentation is about how we look and sound to other people so that they see us in a positive way. Sometimes it can be challenging to have good presentation skills in every situation. Learning about barriers to our presentation can help us work through them. Presenting ourselves well makes a good impression on others and helps us succeed at work.

In this course we'll learn:

  • Learn about the different things that make up our presentation
  • Explore the best way to present ourselves in our workplace
  • Develop an understanding of barriers to presentation and ways to work through them

The Presentation course is part of the UP Skills for Work program which helps you build skills for learning, work, and life. When you have these skills, you have the foundation you need to work well with others — at work, at home, and in your community.
