The ability to work well as part of a team is a very important skill. Whether you work with a big or small team, in-person or remotely, learning to work well with others will help you thrive in any workplace environment.
Here’s what will be covered in this course:
- - Explore why teamwork is important and how to be a good team player
- - Look at how to handle conflict with your coworkers
- - Learn about tools to help improve your teamwork skills
The Teamwork course is part of the UP Skills for Work program which helps you build employability skills. When you have these skills, you have the foundations needed to work well with others—at work, at home, and in your community. That’s part of why employers are looking for people with strong employability skills! The UP Skills for Work program includes nine courses including: Motivation, Attitude, Accountability, Presentation, Teamwork, Time Management, Adaptability, Stress Management and Confidence.
This course is made possible through the generous support of Canada Life, the founding sponsor of UP Skills for Work. To learn more about the program, please visit the UP Skills for Work website.
